Meydan & Ortahisar
Share the exact entrance or landmark in the city centre.
Trabzon journeys can start in the busy centre around Meydan or closer to the airport in Konaklar and Pelitli. A named hotel entrance or street number helps distinguish the right side of a road. For a return to the airport, give your flight departure time as well as your pickup address.
A ride within Trabzon starts with two real places, not just a district name. The centre around Meydan, addresses elsewhere in Ortahisar, and streets in Konaklar or Pelitli call for different pickup descriptions. Use these notes to make a city journey clear before you ask for a car.

A Konaklar pickup needs its own street and entrance; the district name alone is not a meeting point.

Meydan, Boztepe and Çömlekçi are different Ortahisar destinations, each with its own arrival address.

Yıldızlı, Söğütlü and Ortamahalle are different Akçaabat destinations; a Sera Lake visit is a separate stop.

Kaşüstü, Sancak and Yomra's coastal properties have different entrances. Choose the area that matches your accommodation.

Uzungöl's lakeside stays and hillside accommodation can have different approaches. Locate your property around the lake.

Maçka town, a stay in the Altındere valley and Sümela Monastery are different arrival destinations.

Sürmene town, Çamburnu Nature Park and inland neighbourhoods are different destinations. Choose your first stop.

Araklı town, coastal Kalecik and the inland Karadere valley are different destinations within the same district.

Sulaklı town streets, other Of neighbourhoods and Gölet-1 park in Kiraz are different arrival destinations.

Choose accommodation by what you want to do after check-in, not by a single ‘Trabzon’ map result. Ortahisar, Yomra, Akçaabat and Uzungöl serve different plans. This comparison helps you select a base; the individual route guides cover the journey to its exact address.
City days
Consider Ortahisar when the centre around Meydan is the focus of your days. Trabzon's tourism office places its visitor desk at Meydan Park, while the airport authority locates the terminal elsewhere in Ortahisar, between Pelitli and Konaklar. Thus a central hotel and an airport-side property share a district name but create different daily starting points.
Eastern coast
Yomra is worth comparing when your lodging or planned activities are east of the airport. Municipal records distinguish Kaşüstü, Sancak and other neighbourhoods, with separate coastal public spaces; none of these names identifies a single hotel zone. Before choosing, locate the property itself and decide whether your days are mainly in Yomra or in central Trabzon.
Western plans
Akçaabat's municipal guide places Sera Lake in Yıldızlı and historic houses in Orta Mahalle. Those are different places to stay or visit, even though both carry the Akçaabat name. A base in Yıldızlı may suit plans around the lake; an address near Orta Mahalle suits a different local focus.
Lake time
Uzungöl belongs to Çaykara district, away from Trabzon's urban coast. The provincial tourism directorate describes the lake, its surrounding slopes and a local settlement with places to stay. Choose a room there if time at the lake is central to your trip; keeping a city base and visiting instead is a different plan. In either case, distinguish a lakeside address from a property on an uphill road.
Put your overnight places beside your intended visits before booking. If most plans cluster in one area, a single base may simplify your days; if the city and Uzungöl each deserve unhurried time, compare a split stay with repeated travel. Check each property's actual entrance and current check-in arrangements with the host. Then use the matching route guide for the airport journey rather than assuming that every Trabzon address is the same destination.
Meydan also appears as Atatürk Alanı in official visitor information. Choose this part of central Trabzon for İskender Paşa Mosque and the square around it. For Gülbahar Hatun Mosque and its tomb, choose Atapark instead: the municipality places these landmarks in the park, while the tourism directorate locates the mosque west of historic Ortahisar near Zağnos Bridge. The bridge connects the Ortahisar and Atapark sides. These distinctions help you choose where a sightseeing ride should end before you start walking. If you plan to visit both groups of sights, decide which group comes first and whether your return ride should start at the other end. A destination described only as ‘Ortahisar’ leaves that choice unresolved because both areas belong to the same central district. Use the landmark you intend to visit first when comparing a direct ride with a walk between sights.
Explore Trabzon city maps ↗Trabzon rises from the sea towards Boztepe in uneven terraces, so a short-looking line on a map does not describe a level walk. Decide whether you want to walk uphill or travel up by road before adding Boztepe to a day around Meydan. The viewing terrace and walking path are a named attraction; the wider Boztepe area also appears in public transport listings. The municipality’s AKUS planner lists route 141 as Boztepe–Piknik Alanı–Sahil Peron and a separate 141-A picnic-area ring via Meydan. Compare the full route name, direction and stops with the place you want to visit; a bus labelled Boztepe does not by itself identify the viewing-terrace entrance. For a taxi journey, choose the terrace or another specific Boztepe attraction as the destination. The municipality still describes the Meydan–Boztepe/Çukurçayır funicular as a planned project, so do not build your visit around a presumed rail connection.
Check Boztepe bus routes ↗A trip inside Trabzon may involve more than one address: for example, a pickup at a hotel, a stop at another property, and then a final destination. Write the stops in travel order and say if someone will join or leave at one of them. Ask whether that complete itinerary can be arranged and how its fare would be calculated. A request described only as ‘a ride in Trabzon’ hides the route that matters to you. If the stop list changes, update the same conversation before assuming the earlier quote still applies.
The end of a city journey deserves the same precision as the pickup. A hotel name may refer to a lobby entrance, a side entrance or a separate building; a street address may have more than one gate. Tell the business which place you need to reach, especially if someone is meeting you there. If you know the address only in Turkish or have a map link, share it without trying to translate street names yourself. For a journey to the airport, identify the terminal separately. For a journey elsewhere in the city, name the exact door or building rather than using the airport as a general reference point.
The number of people and bags can affect which vehicle would suit a proposed city ride. State those details when asking, particularly if travellers are joining at different addresses or carrying bulky items. If you need a child seat, extra room or help with a specific mobility requirement, ask whether it can be provided before agreeing. Clarify the date and desired pickup time as well, because a general location does not show when you want to travel. A complete request lets both sides discuss the same journey before anyone sets out.
Use the centre point to orient yourself, then share your exact hotel address and entrance when requesting a ride.
